F5 Social Media

Art Direction + design + Creative Strategy

When I joined F5, I immediately got to work reimagining how we could appear across our social channels. Through several pivotal brand moments, I have helped to introduce an entirely new look and feel that has since permeated the rest of the F5 brand. I regularly work hand-in-hand with the social media team to analyze current performance metrics, capitalize upon big moments, and determine opportunities to push our brand voice further.

All animation was done in collaboration with Nathon Sims, Jess Eith, or Jeff Alldridge.

F5 Networks officially became F5, Inc. in November 2021, signifying a fundamental shift in direction for the company that was founded in 1996.

For this high-priority announcement, I was on deck for crafting a social-first post that would inform our audience of this important moment in F5’s history and future. I was responsible for art direction and storyboarding, as well as managing review rounds with marketing leadership. Jess Eith put it all in motion and assembled the final video.

This video far exceeded our expected outcomes on LinkedIn, with views reaching 527% above goal and engagements hitting 5.5x above our channel average.

Agility 2022: Secure. Simplify. Innovate.

F5’s largest event of the year, Agility brings together the latest ideas and innovations in adaptive application security, development, and infrastructure. To promote registration on social, the team decided that a long-form animation was the most successful route. I collaborated with our motion designer, writers, event stakeholders, and creative leadership to storyboard this video. Jess Eith animated it and brought it to life.

In collaboration with Nathon Sims, we created a series of social-first videos to highlight F5’s offerings and efforts during the first wave of COVID-19.

I was responsible for art direction, storyboards, and review, while Nathon worked his magic and added motion and sound effects.
