Personal Yoga Branding

DESIGN + CREATIVE DIRECTION

When I’m not designing, you can find me teaching and practicing yoga around Seattle. It only felt fitting to design my own corresponding website and branding. I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to play—with color, type, and imagery. I feel like I’m most myself when I teach, so it was important to me to create a brand that reflects my personality. A tasteful combination of fun and refined, contrasting use of color, white space to let everything breathe.

While my yoga business is still in its young years, I’m pleased with the outcome of my work (on and off the mat). If you’re in Seattle, maybe I’ll catch you in the studio soon

LOGO and color

I wanted to establish a color palette and logo family that felt fun, calming, and inviting simultaneously. Teaching yoga is an extremely human and intimate experience, so it only seemed right to lean into friendliness and kindness.

photography

It’s a priority for me to teach accessible yoga classes, so I’m always intentional in showing a range of postures and difficulty levels across the photos I share. I love to use natural lighting in textured environments—because most of our daily lives don’t happen in a crisp, clean, white-walled yoga studio.

All photos were taken by Rebecca Mast and Samantha Stone.
